Blu Ray Disc Price

Must I pay a boatload of “pocket change” (i.e.: $30+++) for a wireless adapter for (Panasonic) Blu-ray player?
For the time being, Panasonic has some fair price(s) on Blu ray disc players ($125 apprx) for one that has NetFlix streaming etc., but apparantly a wireless adapter is req’d unless my router were in the same room as the player (highly doubtful…), but I don’t know how much I need to pay for a wireless adapter. Is a special feature not commonly found in your everyday wireless adapter required for Blu-ray/netflix players? I’m very low income and won’t even be able to afford the BR player until about 6 months from now as it is, so I really do mind paying $30 when $20 would do…thanx~Jonathan
Unless you get it as a package.. you need to buy the wireless adapter, and of course it’ll be specific to the panasonic player, as everyone else does. you won’t be ablet to use a universal.
You should also be able to plug in a network cable from your router/hub directly into the blu-ray (if you have one that’ll reach). and that’ll actually work better.
You don’t need network connectivity for the blu-ray to play discs, but you will need it for netflix, etc.. AND importantly.. getting software updates for the blu-ray player itself.
Sometimes if you buy a blu-ray player from like Sams Club or Costco, the adapter will already be included, as a package deal.
