Bluray System
I need a reasonable priced AV unit or Surround sound system with a HDMI input and HDMI output?
I need a unit capable of pluging a PS3 via HDMI so that I can play Bluray discs with the latest sound quality, I think its DOLBY HD
The Onkyo 606 would be a sound choice, but whilst looking at others beware.
Many receivers have HDMI inputs but some don’t carry HDMI audio, the Onkyo 505 and 506 for instance, they only have an HDMI pass-through to allow automatic switching.
When looking at other makes, it’s important you ask if if carries audio, otherwise you’ll have to connect with a digital audio lead as well.
